The heart of the Staplehurst community.
Currently we have 2 main halls that can be booked, in addition to our snooker room and offices.
The South Hall can accommodate up to 80 people for an event or up to 100 if a seated audience. Our North Hall is larger and can accommodate up to 130 for an event or up to 200 seated. Both halls have tables and chairs available in addition to a fully fitted kitchen.

The Village Centre is a hive of different activities ranging from playgroup, ballet, martial arts, fitness and drama sessions. There are also one-off events that change monthly so please keep your eye on our Facebook page to keep up to date.

A community playgroup providing a safe and secure environment with a high adult/child ratio where children from 2½ to 5 years learn through play. We are Ofsted inspected and a registered charity (no. 802551). Our sessions are Monday to Friday 09:00 to 12:00 in the South Hall, Village Centre. A lunch club runs on Monday and Wednesday until 1pm. We are a busy, friendly group who meet at 7.30pm in the South Hall, Village Centre on the second Tuesday of each month. Visitors are always welcome - £2.00. We offer a friendly gathering where we take part in visits, training courses and entertainment. Staplehurst Horticultural Society strives to engage with the local community and in particular with local children in order to promote an interest in gardening and rural matters in general. We hold monthly meetings in the Village Centre with illustrated talks, raffles, refreshments etc as well as a number of annual events. Contact Sue de St-Jorre (01580 893922) for more details.
Classes will be taking place every Tuesday (7:15-8:15pm); Thursday (6:15-7:15pm and another from 7:30-8:30pm); and a new class on the last Sunday of each month (17.15-20:30pm). We have many classes for Children devised to be well structured, informative and most importantly, fun. We aim to give a modern approach to teaching whilst encouraging individualism, growth and ambition.
